International Week 2013

Dear International and Dutch students,

Put the 25th until 28th of March high on your agenda cause it will be this year’s smashing International Week! Since a couple of months the committee has been working hard to make this week a success. The program promises a week full of fun with activities such as ‘beerpong’ Opening Party, Dutch culture lecture, wooden shoe painting, dinner at O’Malley’s, comedy night, beer tasting, yearclub & committee mix, bandnight, pubquiz and a great theme party!

What is the International Week?
The International Week is organised by five student associations in Groningen: AEGEE, SIB, ESN, Dizkartes and Albertus. The goal of the International Week is to give students the opportunity to broaden their international horizon by allowing Dutch students to get to know other countries & cultures and foreign students to get to know the Netherlands and the Dutch culture. During this week students can participate in numerous activities to get acquainted with the enjoyable student-city Groningen, local culture, student associations and other students. There is more on this globe then just your own country & culture, so this year’s theme will be ‘There’s more to explore!’.
