Curious how Dutch people look like when they are not the giants yet you see walking down the street every day? Want to know how the Dutch education system works for kids between 9 and 12 years old? Then the Erasmus in Schools program is something for you!
Between March 4th and March 14th, ESN in collaboration with the Tamarisk, organizes the Erasmus in Schools project in which a select group of 12 international students get the opportunity to visit a Dutch primary school where they will get the change to teach and tell Dutch children about their home country and answer their questions.
This can be done by showing pictures of back home, bringing objects from back home etc. Most kids at that age already speak pretty good English here in the Netherlands, but just in case there will always be someone from the ESN Board helping you out and translating everything.
You can sign up in couples or alone, although we can imagine it will be a more fun activity to do together. You don't have to be from the same country though!
Interested? Don't wait any longer and sign up here.
