Do you want to play sports and pay only € 47 for the entire year? Become ACLO-member!

We warmly welcome you at the ACLO! The ACLO offers you, in cooperation with the Sports Centre of the University of Groningen and the Hanze University Groningen over 80 different sports. At the Sports Centre almost 17,500 students of both universities have the possibility to play sports for about 15 hours a day, almost every day of the year. The place where you can enjoy your favourite sport in a fun, student-like setting! From aerobics to pilates, and from tennis to zumba, you’ll find it here!

If you study in Groningen at the University or the Hanze, you can buy an ACLO-card for only € 47 a year. If you are a fitness freak we can offer you a whole year of fitness for an additional fee of only €60 a year. If you stay for less than six months, you can even get the ACLO-card for only €36. Please ask your Faculty or Institution for a letter of enrolment and come to the Sports Centre (address below) to register.

So, take € 47 and your University or Hanze student card to the Sports Centre during business days between 8.00 and 18.00 hrs or pay online on our website with iDeal, and become an ACLO-member.

The ACLO offers sports in five different ways:

• General hours (Classes where you can just walk in and participate)
• Courses (You have to register in advance on our website to follow a course for 5 or 10 weeks in a sport you like, or have never done before)
• Sports clubs (There are over 50 clubs associated with the ACLO. They offer a lot of different sports all for student prices and with student boards)
• Free hours (If you want to play tennis, squash, futsal or any other sport with your friends, just give us a call or visit our website and make your reservation)
• Events (Participate with your own team in one of our great student sports events)
