Treasurer

The treasurer has an important task within the board; he or she makes a solid budget for the year, takes care of the accountancy of ESN Groningen, and sees to it that the money is spent efficiently. Basically everything that has to do with finances is his or her responsibility. 

Next to this, the treasurer is the board-representative of the Excursion Committee. In this position, you'll be closely involved with the planning of all excursions during the year, and you'll attend the weekly meetings of the Excursion Committee.

For this position, affinity with finance is preferred, but not mandatory. It will be necessary to work in a structured way and to be able to keep an overview of everything that is going on. However, during the extensive transition period you will be able to learn a lot from your predecessor in order to get the hang of it.
