Jos Doldersum – Treasurer ESN Groningen Board 2022/2023

Hello everyone! My name is Jos Doldersum, I’m 23 years old and I am the Treasurer of the Executive Board of ESN Groningen. Before coming to Groningen I did my Bachelor’s in Economics & Business Economics in Nijmegen, where I was also a part of ESN. Now I am enrolled in the Master of Business Administration. Besides ESN, I enjoy playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends and occasionally some good old board games.

Position description

As a Treasurer, I am responsible for everything related to the finances of ESN Groningen. This goes from budgeting and accounting to sending out bills and paying those. Being a Treasurer gives you an overview of everything that goes on in the organisation. While the COVID-19 measures are slowly becoming history, the organisation is running at full speed, this gives me the honourable challenge to look at the financial future of ESN Groningen.

The Treasurer is honoured by supervising the two best committees, the Active Members Committee and the Excursion Committee. With them, I organise some great events throughout the year. Finally, as Treasurer I am also involved with the ticketshop and the ESN Groningen App. Most importantly, you do a lot of work with the board collectively. I am also one of the two confidential advisors together with Annika, the Secretary of the Executive Board of 2022/2023.  So if you ever feel you need someone to talk to or if something happened, you can always contact one of us.
