On the 13th of October, the prime minister gave a press conference and decided that physical events cannot take place any more. Therefore, it was decided that all physical ESN events will be canceled until the government allows these events to happen again. The office hours will also be closed until further notice. If you are staying in Groningen and/or need advice or help with something, the ESN Groningen Board is available via the ESN Facebook or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
During the restrictions, ESN Groningen will still host some online events. Stay up to date here!
Download the app ‘CoronaMelder’
Coronavirus is still around and we need to stay alert, especially right now. The CoronaMelder app can help us all to do this and it is now available throughout the whole of the Netherlands.
Help stop the spread of the coronavirus and download the app on your telephone. The app will warn you if you have been near someone with coronavirus. This way, you can avoid unknowingly infecting people around you. Downloading the app is voluntary.
The app sends you a notification if you have been near someone who later tested positive for coronavirus, and you were around them for more than 15 minutes. But only if that person is also using the app. Read more about why is the CoronaMelder app is needed and how it works on the website https://coronamelder.nl/en
Together, we’ll keep corona under control. On the following website you can find information about what the Dutch government – together with other organisations – is doing.
