How to get access to ESN Introduction Week events that require a COVID-19 certificate

Point Instructions

Point A
1. Download the Coronacheck app. (Download instructions in the third paragraph of Point E)
2. Click to add proof of vaccination in the app.
3. Login with your DigiD.
4. Your vaccination(s) will appear on the screen. Click on the make proof of vaccination button.
5. A message with the text “my QR-Code” will appear.
6. When you are at the entrance of the event, show the QR-Code on your screen.

Point B
EITHER
1. Show us your proof of vaccination obtained via your own country’s system for issuing COVID certificates, for example, via an app. You have to be vaccinated by an EMA approved vaccine (https://bit.ly/37TPIuz) and your last shot should have been at least 2 weeks ago.
OR
2. Show us your proof of vaccination in English or Dutch via an official paper document as issued by your government. You have to be vaccinated by an EMA approved vaccine (https://bit.ly/37TPIuz) and your last shot should have been at least 2 weeks ago.
If you do not have this, you have to get tested. (See point E)

Point C
Show us your proof of vaccination in English or Dutch via an official paper document as issued by your government. You have to be vaccinated by an EMA approved vaccine (https://bit.ly/37TPIuz) and your last shot should have been at least 2 weeks ago.
If you do not have this, you have to get tested. (See point E)

Point D
You may use a positive test result to create a recovery certificate with the CoronaCheck App. A number of rules apply:

1. The positive test was carried out by the GGD.
2. The recovery certificate is valid from 11 days after the positive test result, but the recovery certificate may be created earlier.
3. The positive test result is a maximum of 180 days old.

If you have had a PCR test, you will receive a Dutch and international QR code. Have you had an antigen test? Then you will only receive the QR code necessary for access within the Netherlands.
This means it is not possible to create a recovery certificate based on the results of an antibody test.

Point E

You will need to get tested for access to certain ESN Introduction Week events. You can only get access if you make an appointment and test at a “Testen Voor Toegang” location. The Groningen location is at the following address: Bornholmstraat 44, 9723 AZ Groningen (more information can be found at Testen voor toegang, www.testenvoortoegang.org). Please note that it is a 15-minute bike ride from the centre of Groningen. The proof of a COVID-19 test (also referred to as a corona admission ticket) will only be valid if it shows a negative test result not older than 24 hours, including your name and date of birth.

In case your test results are positive:
you will not receive a corona admission ticket and you will not be able to join the events. Follow the measures of the RIVM and go into quarantine immediately. The testing location will share your results with the GGD who will contact you about a source-and-contact investigation. You do not need to test again.

In case your test results are negative: You will receive an email with a unique code with the test result. You convert this code into a digital corona admission ticket. There are two options for obtaining a corona admission ticket: with the CoronaCheck app or with a printed corona admission ticket via www.coronacheck.nl. Follow the following steps to obtain your corona admission ticket via the app:
Download the app in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store. Make sure you download the CoronaCheck Netherlands app.
In the CoronaCheck app, enter the retrieval code you received along with your negative test result, or when you were vaccinated. Or use DigiD to retrieve your details. More information about DigiD at: https://www.digid.nl/en

The app makes a certificate from your details, in the form of a QR code
Have the QR code scanned at the entrance of the location you are visiting.
Please note: in the CoronaCheck app, you are only able to make a certificate or entry pass for one person. So every visitor needs their own phone (with the app installed).
