Sarah Sixma – Project Coordinator ESN Groningen Board 2026/2027

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah, and I am the Project Coordinator of the 39th Executive Board of ESN Groningen. I am 21 years old and I am from Friesland. During my study abroad to Dublin I discovered ESN, and when I returned to Groningen, I decided to join the board of ESN Groningen. I am really excited to be the first Project Coordinator and meet many people this year! 

Position description

As the Project Coordinator, I am responsible for the long-term projects from ESN Groningen. This includes sustainability, technology: overseeing the website and the app, Social Impact Week and the Live Music Nights.

I manage the crew during the Introduction Week and I am responsible for the band night. I also supervise the Live Music Night Committee.

As the position is very flexible, I have a lot of freedom to explore new projects to work on, or expand on existing ones. What I enjoy most about this role is the versatility: not one day is the same and I work on many big events simultaneously, which is very rewarding!
