Buddy & Integration Committee

The Buddy and Integration Committee (BIC) is responsible for the Buddy Programme. This means that before every semester starts, they’re busy matching incoming students to local students so that everyone who comes has someone to ask questions to, hang out with or even become best friends with. Next to this, the BIC organises various integration-oriented activities throughout the year, like speedfriending, pub quizzes, and more. 

President: responsible for communication with the board, attending the President’s meetings, setting the agenda for the weekly committee meetings, leading the committee meetings, making sure the activities are planned, and keeping the committee motivated.

Secretary: making the minutes of committee meetings, responsible for the committee email, sending activity information to participants, and attending the Secretary meetings.

Treasurer: making budgets for each event and accounting for the realisation, attending Treasurer meetings, keeping track of expenses and committee declarations.

Activity Coordinator: planning the activities during an event, responsible for coordinating the activities during the event.

Public Relations (PR): coordinating the promotion material for events, writing promotion texts, attending Public Relations meetings, taking photos at committee events, and sorting and uploading photos.

Buddy Programme Coordinator: responsible for managing the matching algorithm and for overseeing the matching procedure (Python skills are an advantage).

Evaluator: creating the evaluation form for each event, writing the evaluation report after each event, and attending the evaluators’ meetings.
