Sports Committee

The Sports Committee is responsible for all the exciting and active events from ESN! From paddleboarding to paintballing, they come up with new ideas to help students integrate into the city and meet new friends by doing different sports! The Sports Committee is also responsible for ESN Groningen’s participation in the Batavierenrace – they take care of all the planning and logistics, as well as organise practice runs for our Active Members!

President: responsible for communication with the board, attending the President’s meetings, setting the agenda for the weekly committee meetings, leading the committee meetings, making sure the activities are planned, and keeping the committee motivated.

Secretary: making the minutes of committee meetings, responsible for the committee email, sending activity information to participants, and attending the Secretary meetings.

Treasurer: making budgets for each event and accounting for the realisation, attending Treasurer meetings, keeping track of expenses and committee declarations.

Batavierenrace Coordinator: responsible for registration and logistics of ESN’s participation in Batavierenrace.

Public Relations (PR): coordinating the promotion material for events, writing promotion texts, attending Public Relations meetings, taking photos at committee events, and sorting and uploading photos.

Evaluator: creating the evaluation form for each event, writing the evaluation report after each event, and attending the evaluators’ meetings.
